Penn State Student Media
As a sports writer for Penn State student media, I wrote articles on general sports topics with a focus on women’s basketball and the WNBA. I also developed sports packages for Centre County Report, an award-winning, student-produced newscast distributed online and through media partners in Pennsylvania and beyond. Through these roles, I strengthened my skills in researching, writing, reporting, and producing stories that connected audiences to the broader sports world.
Culture Central Sports
As a Sports Specialist for Culture Central, a 15-time award-winning student-led talk show at Penn State, I contributed sports-focused discussions and segments for a live studio-style production. The experience strengthened my ability to communicate clearly on camera, share informed analysis, work collaboratively with a production team, and adapt in a fast-paced talk-show environment. It helped build the confidence and versatility I bring to sports broadcasting today.
